Your logic makes perfect sense to me. I hate to see things sit...especially when someone else could be out there enjoying it.
 
This ad says the bed and front clip are fiberglass, the ones on craigslist sure don't look to be.

I wonder if they're off the same truck from years ago, before they went to fiberglass.
