I had 2200 fake users join my forum in the last 5 months. I had no choice but to close registration. The web is frustrating with all of the scams and spam!

Well after a lot of research I found the way they were getting in. The reCAPTCHA system
that we use for human verification the code got cracked, one of those little geeks figured it out, that's why we are getting spammed like we were. I changed the Human verification for registration here on the site and the spammers have seemed to slow if not stop.

I have had a ton of spammers the last two weeks write on the guest book on our tractor pull website. I guess they also cracked the code also for the human verification. Had no idea how they were doing it. It gets aggrevating:doh:
