AsTroSS : T-25 project

Last weekend we had local US car meet with dragrace, the same where I raced in'09 and run my best 13.0

Because Wagoneer Ram exploded at the last One Mile Challange we decided to upgrade my truck with his 64mm VGT turbo and 5x16 injectors with 20 degree timing.

And result was disappointing , the best with small wheels were 14.4. at 1/4 mile.
With my low stall converter and Suncoast valvebody I was not able to spool the turbo, it light just at the finish line.....

So next year we must start modification earlier then few days before

Hahaa, winter is here but.....

..... I can not use the truck again before spring..:soap:

Last time I used the truck was mid summer , the tank is full with summer fuel , now in forzen temp the fuel is jelly.

This year total milage will be close to 300 miles :Cheer:

Thanks Travis

Again 1.5 years have been from my last post. :soap:

Last summer (all year ) total milage was less than 200 miles (300 km)

And starting from 1 January 2016. I can not use the truck anymore on open roads.

Thanks to traffic law change , all trucks /cars with total weight above 3500 kg (7700lbs) driver must have cargo truck driving licence , same as Semi truck.

To get cargo truck driving licence I had to go to drive school for trucks.
Thanks to my work, I have not had free time to go to traffice office and do the theoretic and truck driving examen, looks like next 2 month will be super busy....

Today I swap my black Hummer. H2 wheels with 37 inch tires to Ram.
I affeaid that my 37x20 tires might be damaged by direct sunlight

For me this setup is ugly like hell

That is no good. What does the truck Weigh now? Can it be lightened to get below the 3500 kg ???

The actual weight does not matter, they now check only total weight and on the documents Ram total weight is 8800lbs /4000kg

Actually I have also Ram 1500 quad 4x4 with cummins conversion, officcially regitered in my country.

This truck can be driven with normal passanger car driving licence , because total weight will be less than 3500kg.
The only disadvantage willl be, the tuck is not currently in driving condition, but sooner or later will be.

Thanks

1.5 years later.

Yesterday was a day, when I made insurance and thecnical inspection, the truck is now road worthy.

Also few month ago I finished truck driving licens

Few poblems, front brake will stay on randomly and my super Edellbrok shocks might be empty, need to refill with N2

To drive this is pure fun, I have no idea how much power it have , but it pulls strong, from 60mph to 90+ mph and continues...

Should I mention ,in Europe truck speed is limited to 90 kmh / 55mph

How much weight are your trailer axles/wheels/tires/bearings rated for??

Looks like a pretty good jag for that trailer.

How does your dodge handle the weight??

The trailer is rated to 5900lbs of load (total7700lbs) and the old PW should weight bit less than 5900lbs , not overloaded

The truck handles well the load, but only transmission acts strangely (even empty)

The shift from 1 to 2 is OK, but from 2to 3 takes too long and to switch overdrive will be like on-off-on

Now the old Dodge is also registered

Notice, the flatbed is not overloaded :evil
