engine hesitation when floored from a dead stop

Hello all, I am a "noob" to the forum community so bear with me! Whenever the truck is at a stop and the throttle is mashed in drive gear, the engine acts normal untill 2500 rpm then will studder, hesitate and act like a fuel cut then will pick back up and accelerate to 3400rpm normally again. Also I experience this problem while trying to do a brake stand at around 1900 rpm but the engine never makes it past that rpm. I do not experience this once the truck is moving and out of first gear. Noticed an arc between the battery and hood via a metal ring on an air filter. Thought it was tranny issue at first but local shops are leaning towards engine/fueling issue. Could this arc have caused a fueling issue and damaged the ecm or any other computers? Also received codes P0500, P0743, P1765. 743 and 1765 are due to lockup switch. However did not receive the typical 1693 code. Any suggestions?
