While I hate to do it, I am selling my 1994 Dodge 3500 drivetrain. I was planning to put this into a 1938 Chevy Pickup, but dont have time. I did perform most of the engine mods to get it to around 400HP.
I would prefer to sell it as a whole, but if it sits a while, I will consider parting it out. $5000 OBO
What comes in the deal:
Frame - has some rust on it, primarily in the cross members
Suspension - a little rusty, but in good working order
Axles - Good working order - Dana 60 in front, Dana 80 in rear
Wheels & Tires - 5 of the 6 are good with decent tread. 1has a hole in the sidewall will hold air, but leaks
Transfer Case - Good working order
Auto Transmission - Can move under its own power, but needs a rebuild (previous owner drove it very low on fluid and something is wrong with it, pan gasket is also leaking. I put 8 qts of trans fluid in and it moves under its own power)
Torque Converter - used DPC Triple Disk Converter, Pretty sure it is stock stall (not yet installed)
Engine - 240k miles, running strong. I have performed some mods, but haven't tuned it since then. 0 miles on it since mods.
Misc other parts - Pretty much everything else to get it running, drive shafts, radiator, Intercooler, Stock piping, etc.
List of engine mods
-Killer Dowel Pin Fix
-Re-degreed stock P-pump from 12.3 deg to 17 deg
-Checked torque on head bolts (all at least 120 FT-LBS)
-Heater Grid Delete (more flow, not needed as it was an emissions item)
-#10 Fuel Plate Installed
-AFC mods for additional travel (arm currently set to full open at 20psi on bench, star wheel and smoke screw tuning needed)
-5x12 Injectors (PDD) Installed (still have originals)
-Boost Elbow (TST) purchased, but not installed
-3/4k Governor Spring Kit(TST) purchased, but not installed
-Lighter AFC spring kit (TST) purchased, but not installed
I've included some pictures of the truck along the way of me tearing it apart and doing engine mods. If you want to see anything in particular, let me know.
I do have the title for the truck if that makes any difference. Truck is located in Northwest Houston.
