Can you upgrade your ev series gauges to the ev2? I guess are color match LEDs available for the EV series gauges?

Sorry, I was out sick last week, and ISSPRO is closed this week (and our town is at a virtual standstill with 2' of snow on the ground, and nobody knows how to deal with it). We do have color matching LEDs available for the old style EV series gauges. Here are the examples in green, they are also available in blue and white.

For a mechanical gauge (boost, etc), you need Qty one of:
http://www.isspro.com/proddetail.php?prod=R7795

For an electric gauge (pyro, trans temp, etc) you need Qty two of:
http://www.isspro.com/proddetail.php?prod=R7787

Thanks,
Michael Pliska

I am interested on buying some gauges, either EV2 or Performax.. Not sure what the difference is between the two.. Is there even a difference? Please let me know, and who I can purchase them from.. Thanks,

ISSPRO just sells at the list price as shown on the links I posted. You can probably find them cheaper at some of the higher volume dealers. Try DPPI, Scheid, Vulcan, and New Era.

For the last question first, the stocking dealers for EV² are listed here:
http://www.isspro.com/EV2_find_distributors.php

And for Performax they are listed here:
http://www.isspro.com/performax_find_distributors.php

The EV² gauges are electronic gauges, using solid-state sensors, with stepper motor gauge movements and LED backlighting. Each gauge is individually wired, although you can "daisy chain" the power, ground and backlighting wires easily.

The Performax system of gauges uses the same sensors and similar appearing gauge heads, but they use a main "brain" box (ESP) which mounts under the hood, with all the sensors attaching to the ESP, and a common 3 wires running to all of your gauges (up to 17 individual gauges). The Performax system also includes the Total Recall™ function, which recalls peak values at the push of a button. Optionally available is a PC interface to do direct datalogging with a PC, from the ESP's data stream.

Regards,
Michael Pliska
