What happened? What are we looking for? Maybe my brain is farting right now but the bearings look fine? Although, a little polished.

Im also not seeing what you see wrong with the bearings.

3rd picture part of the bearing missing. I have no idea why it would fail like that besides just a poor bearing.

Guys,
The metal in the oil is what's troubling me. The flakes are small. They would up in the turbo bearings causing rebuild. If I can't see anything else in the bearings Monday, Then I'll look into the cylinders for scratches.

Check the cam shaft. Also those bearings look fine for any engine with run time.
