New truck project

Well making progress on the engine build. Should be done by the end of the week. Waiting on injectors and rockers that's about all I need.

Yes it did. It would be better if I had more $$ lol I am doing what I can afford and that doesn't include billet rods or a 13mm. The pump will hopefully be a late summer deal.

That's the hope. Would like to touch 1000 on fuel. Maybe more if possible. I know it's not that easy with a 12mm

Little more progress. School is done for the summer so I can focus on this truck in after work hours. Engine is almost done. All parts are gathered. My eaton fittings and line showed up last week. Click the image to open in full size. should have engine done by Friday. I will being chassis to shop and remove bed and start cutting weight and mounting fuel cell and new brakes this weekend.

Installed pump last night with gear. Timing is at 31* to start with. Installed cover and waterman. This evening drilled and pinned the crank with the fluid damper. Tqd to 150 with red locktite. Rockers should be done by 3 head should be dressed and on by 6. Really getting excited about this engine

Received my cooler today. Looks amazing. I understand why all the pullers use this thing. The core is huge.
Hopefully have the fuel cell, lines and brake lines in this week. Then I can stab engine , Trans and 271.
Debating on switching where the shocks sit on the axle as well the brackets look cheap enough.

This in addition to water should help the engine live a bit longer. I am hoping to be together by the end of July but money is short so we shall see. I won't cut corners that can't be easily added later. I hate to cut any corners but I want to race this year. It's killing me.

It's a hogan OMG Cooler. List price is 2000$. Honestly worth every penny
We got the bed clean and stripped of the bed liner ect today. Hopefully have fuel and brake line in tomorrow
