auto tranny set ups

Im thinking about buying a 96 for a play truck. What kinda power could I expect an aftermarket valve body and converter to be able to handle when added to a stock tranny?

Do yourself a favor and call Tony Garcin at Dunrite converters. He probably knows moer about these things than anyone else. I've spent a few hours the last couple of days on the phone with him and not only did he tell me what I needed, but also taught me a lot about how a converter works as well as how to beef the thigns up, and not just stick a better converter and valve body in and call it good.

There are several mods you can do to the lube system inside these thigns as well as things to improve line pressures beyond the normal parts swap stuff.

His number is (360)693-3200 tell him George Stanfield sent you.
