3rd Gen mega cab bed —> 4th Gen bed

Had a deer run into the sid rig my truck last weekend. Has anyone grafted 3rd Gen mega cab dually fenders on to a 4th Gen bed?

I don’t believe the 4th Gen mega cab was made with the small fenders….

Any who, fenders are in order and a brand new 0 mile take off single rear wheel long bed has been secured.

Good luck. Body profiles don't remotely match.

May take a little bit of modification but with new fiberglass fenders it shouldn’t be that bad. My body guy didn’t think they’d need to much modifying, as we were looking at a 3rd Gen bed and a 4th Gen bed.

I thought those retro-ish fender styles were gay when they came back out in 08 or when ever they did. Now that I've owned a truck with them....I hate the swept fenders. Completely hate them.

Time to go flatbed, and never damage a plastic dually fender again.

I love them. Have wanted one since the mega cabs came out with these fenders. But I couldn't go for the small box.

Nah... Just cant be careless. The flat beds can look good and come in handy. But I'd prefer to have a real box.
