47re pump gears- which side towards converter? - Competition Diesel.Com

I searched online and tried a quick search with search function. I usually put a mark on the inner gear. I'm building my buddies 47re and I think the dealer put the inner gear in backwards. Is it the side with the step that faces the converter right ? Thanks

Eased edge goes to the converter, sharper stepped side goes toward the tranny.

Thanks man ! I was about to pull apart another tranny I have to just to take a look.
