So finally got around to cleaning up some in the engine bay and noticed my prefilter looked incredibly clingy on my 15x8x6 AFE dry filter.... cleaned it thinking it was just dirty and left it off to dry...

Chose to not reinstall it and holy cow it was too restrictive and this ETR 488 from FI with V2 cover was incredibly choked down. Never noticed this with the s480 6 blade.

Gained over 10 psi and it freaking screams now. Haven't even really hit it running in 5th or 6th yet which loads the engine a lot more than 4th does.

Here's a video of just feathering locked in 4th. April 25, 2018 - YouTube

Moral of the story, prefilters are restrictive and don't belong on compounds!

Tried to watch video. Now have to see chiropractor.

Lmao! One of my many flaws..... Just keeping it bendy in here!

Funny you said that though, don't get me started on the chiropractor industry! Had a text from a client today that had me smh at the level of ignorance her new chiro told her.
