Tried to install the fan today. Shroud need more cutting. Jumped to the fuel system. Plumbed the supply side of the system from the tank to the engine. I need a hose to return from the engine to the ford's supply line that is now the return.

OH yeah, I started stripping rust on the crossmembers on the bed, found 3 points where the structure is completely gone. I'm going to see if anyone sells the crossmembers or this bed is a gonnerClick the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.

I just put new rails in mine, dorman has a kit but it's the same thin steel. The rails are 2 and 2 1/2 inch so I just cut the old off and welded square tube steel in.

That's exactly what my 'body guy' and I discussed.

Happen to have any pictures? The original pieces have tubes in them to keep the bolts from crushing the members.

And I don't mind a kit as long as it's treated properly, Weld through primer and such

Biggy238@gmail.com if you feel like emailing them.

The Dorman and APDTY kits look similar. Click the image to open in full size.

Your welcome, with that repair I don't think you have to worry about supports for where the bed bolts go through. Steel is twice as thick.

Good deal and quick, are you gonna undercoat it good I guess? I've never had to deal with salt rodes.

I'm at the border of no snow and oh **** for weather.

They use brine here, and they spray the roads for equipment checks before any weather is even forecast.

This doesn't excuse me not washing the truck, and it had gotten a lot worse in the two years I've had it. The truck came from Ohio.

It's getting multiple heavy coats of high zinc primer, and then undercoat, after it's repaired.

I want this to be my old man truck.
I may be ruining it for that though.

Just FYI if u replace the rail at the back of the bed (2 1/2") rail, u will have to notch it for the spare tire carrier, my truck no longer has a spare tire carrier so I did not notch it.

5.4 AC condensor won't clear the 6.4 intercooler.

Emailed JAMO about exhaust. The exhaust hangers on the 5.4 chassis are oriented 90 degrees out of phase.

06 dodge coolant hoses mock-up to see what I need to do.

I'll probably end up splitting the top hose with a union to make up the length. The bottom one will be more challenging because I need to add a T to incorporate the coolant reservoir. I presume you need the radiator side of the fan shield? I should have one. I’ll look this evening. My number is 270-855-9468. If you want to text me so I have yours, I’ll let you know what I find.
I’m 30 miles east of Glasgow.

30 miles east of Glasgow!
I just bought a pickup from a guy in Gradyville a couple months ago
I'm about 35 miles north west of Elizabethtown.
Sold the 6.0 shroud with the radiator, using a 7.3 radiator and shroud with a 2nd gen fan.
