24vp and cr interchangability

Just a couple of questions I couldn't find the exact answers to by searching. Will a 24vp crank with the tone wheel provision fit in a 5.9 cr block? Will a 24vp cam work fine in a 5.9 cr?

12v crank and aftermarket 24v cam fit in my 2005 CR block. I'm running whatever parts I could find in the race engine. 6.7 head, 6.7 injectors, 5.9 2006 CR electronics, 24v cam, 12v crank, 2007 CR rods, 2007 CR pistons, Clevite CR bearings, etc.

Since they machine the 24v internal tone ring mounting surface into the crank without changing the rod or main spacing, it should fit. I've never tried it and could be wrong.

Thanks for the info! I guess I will have to tear an engine down and see if it will fit. I'm just not sure if the cr block girdle will interfere...

It will fit without an issue, have done it before on an 04 CR.
