Maxxforce 13 Emissions

Who can lead me to someone that can tune a Maxxforce 13 when removing DPF and EGR? Google search comes up with not much.

Pretty sure that's right. Flashing international ECMs can be a pain compared to most normal engines. Diesel spec would be my choice as well!

I was just scrolling down to type this ^^

The parts market even sucks on them as most know when they're done to wash their hands and walk away.

Never replied to my email so i called today. Send ecm, $3500 for tuning, 1 or 2 day turnaround. They ship it back along with instructions on how to install provided egr blocker plates and disable DPF.

Pdi isn't doing them because the demand isn't there and they're still a horrible engine. For every one you tune you will get 10 calls because they still have issues. From exhaust leaks to tail lights going out all asking if it was the tune. And no I'm not kidding.

The exhaust leak was 3 yrs after the tune. Dome light quit on another and again wondered if it was the tune. I hate people.

ISX guys are the worst for us. They are usually "really southern guys" driving a Freightliner with 500k hard fleet miles on it that they bought from Ritchie Brothers when they want to tune it.

Somehow an overhaul in our shop caused the exhaust brakes to mysteriously change from coast to latching mode.
Have 3 rat boxes in various ages after overhaul, but now after the fact, they are all three getting 2.3 mpg less than before.

Does a delete for these MAN engines remove the hardware or just disable it?

ALWAYS drive them before you tune them. Worked for hours to get the cruise working again on a Detroit only to find out it didn't work when it showed up.

Either I believe, did a Maxxforce DT and you could do either. Still has about 8hp and randomly won't start and pours white smoke whenever it feels like it. Total piles of junk and that's why IH offers the ISB in their medium duties which they have never done EVER.

That's why I'm not thrilled about the Maxxforce 13, the MAN engine they're based off of are junk.

Try explaining why a turbo with bearings seized to a completely blue shaft raises concern to a guy that only speaks 10 words of english.

Got a call Wednesday that the 4wd indicator light in the dash of an LMM (manual transfer case) suddenly stopped working this week, but the tune I did in July is the cause... Speaking of, I still have your XRT!
