No idea at all what happened...like Tim said...I was rolling 75 mph with the cruise set when it shuddered...I saw something bounce along side me...thought it was a blown tire...looked back and saw the black trail of death.
While I was waiting for the wrecker I walked down the road...found 2 pieces of block and a chunk of rod about 2" long...
I was on the phone with Alldiesels and decided to fire it up.
Talk about some bad rod slap. It ran for about 4 revolutions then died....it's definitely a goner. I'll get under it tomorrow and try to see where it came out.

I dont think a hug would do it
You might just want to Hump his truck for him, but you might get just a little dirty.

im only about 1.5 hours away everyday rich, if you need some tools or anything, not sure what you would need, but if you need any help doing anything just let me know, i was planning to drive out next week to check out the truck, and go for a ride but i could drive out to at least see the truck and help you do anything if there would be anything i could do.

plus if it helps, we have a air conditioned 40x60 shop with tons of tool and air power, and we have a cherry picker if you so required it, we would just have to get it here, but if brad drives up, i may have to drive out there at that time, so i can also see his truck...

Sorry to hear about the breakage UB.. I will bet it comes back stronger though. Are you going to stick with a 6.0 or do a Cummins swap????

What a bummer. Not only was your truck fast, but very nice looking too. If you need anything at all, please let us know.

Thanks,
Vivian
