i did a 5r110 behind my 12v in my 96 ford.... worst thing ever, couldnt get it to shift right, i was comfortable driving it, hearing it slam into gears and unlock and lock in to OD. i have a nv4500 now no more worries. if you are still going with the 5r110 i have the billet flexplate from mine i dont if it fits yours or not

Very very bad idea you will be utterly disappointed not just because it won't hold the power but also because you will more then likely never fit it to shift just right if I was you a 4r100 would be the route I'd take I know a few guys with 6.4 powerstrokes who have put them in and they can seriously take a beating even with a truck pushing over 1000 hp

That will fit a 4x4. Simply unbolt the flange yoke from the rear and replace the rear seal, bolt a t-case to it.

6.4's push 1400ft lb with these no problem. My 5r has held all year with close to 1600ft lb. My trany is stock. 5r will hold a lot of power.

Your obviously missing the point .... There is no way to control then like the stock Tcm does that's why it will not live along with the fact that a cummins make it's torque at a much lower rpm

Right except the stand alone for the allison uses the alli tcm and. Could say the same thing about a dodge trans it's all about what the end user prefers

Cummins and Allison play well together if the money is properly placed.
