Stock 6.4 bent pushrods

I have a bone stock 2008 6.4 that started knocking like a bill collector. Shut it down immediately, pulled the valve covers, and found 2 bent pushrods in the cylinder closest to the firewall, and 1 rocker off the side of the pushrod. Pulled the head, and the piston looks fine, cam looks fine, head looks good. Cam followers look fine. Measured piston protrusion and all are the same, which indicates no connecting rod/wrist pin, rod bearing damage. 75k miles. It’s an F450 work truck that has seen a lot of idle time. We suspect an injector failure that over fueled that cylinder caused the problem. Anyone have any insights or other ideas?
