Hello Everyone,
Mishimoto is proud to release a brand new line of products specifically designed for diesel trucks. Following up on our success with bringing quality and reliable performance cooling products to automotive consumers, we are determined to bring the same enthusiastic energy to the world of diesel. We know you demand the most from your truck, so we developed a line of performance products to support your truck to any power level, and in any environment or terrain. Mishimoto products are available for Powerstroke, Duramax, and Cummins diesel trucks, but before we move on to the products themselves, I would like to provide a brief rundown about our company for those of you who might not already be familiar with us.
Our company headquarters is located in New Castle, Delaware, where our team performs all design, engineering, sales, and marketing duties. Our office is filled with gear heads chasing the same goal - to provide the best possible products that will help you take your vehicle to the next level of performance. It’s rare to find a company that truly cares about its customers as we do, and we take every recommendation, request, and concern very seriously. Feel free to contact me directly! Mishimoto’s involvement in the automotive industry dates back to 2003 and our business has continued to grow year after year. Today, we partner with many professional drivers and events. We are extremely proud of our full line of highly engineered and rigorously tested performance cooling products.
Our facility features a modern office setting with an attached 17,500 sq. ft. garage and engineering studio. We have state-of-the-art equipment for our engineers who create incredible products that offer great performance and reliability. Check out some images taken at our facility!
The robotic arm and 3-dimensional printer shown below are used for rapid prototyping in the design process of new products.
We use our in-house AWD DynoJet dynamometer, shown below, for rigorous testing of our products.
Now that you have an idea of how we engineer our products I will introduce you to the new Mishimoto diesel line, which includes the following products for Powerstroke, Duramax, and Cummins trucks. Welcome to the forum. This adds another option... Is there anything that would make your intercooler better than a cool twist, Hellman, or a bd unit? I see your inlet and outlets are 3.5" and that you have a lifetime warranty like the cool twist unit. Or guaranteed to over 100psi like the hellman unit? Your price is the same as the cool twist, but cheaper than the bd and hellman intercoolers.

Sweet, I have (what I was told is) the first prototype radiator you guys did for a 2nd gen Dodge cummins for my pulling truck. It changed hands a few times and has some bent up fins, but it will work and look killer under the hood of my truck.

Nice stuff, do your 7.3 powerstroke radiator hoses go through the serpentine belt like the factory, or outside of it like the Excursion?

Our intercooler with cast end tanks TIG welded to our bar and plate core is engineered to withstand extreme boost pressures. The larger inlet size will result in increased airflow. Our cores also exhibit benefits in pressure loss compared to factory coolers and reductions in IATs and EGTs. We do not like to release direct comparisons of our products and competitors but I can tell you that our intercoolers are a perfect upgrade for both a stock truck and a high boost/power truck.
Next week we will be posting our detailed engineering reports which will provide real world data including the results you can expect from our intercooler kits. I think you will find this information very helpful!

Yes we have a few prototypes out there. Those who test fit our products are compensated with the product. Let me know when you install it and how it works out!

We have several universal radiators as well. Check them out here: Universal Radiators - Off-Road, Drag Aluminum Performance by Mishimoto. They all have different sizes, core dimensions, tank characteristics. The newest of the bunch is the Race-Ready unit which is very slick and has removable inlets/outlets.
If you have specific dimensions you are trying to accommodate I would be happy to help out. Shoot me a PM if you would like!
Thanks
-John

Thanks! Our hose follows the OEM routing which is through the serpentine belt just like the factory design.
I would be happy to answer any other questions!
Thanks

Thanks for the welcome Chris! We have yet to perform R&D duties for a 10-12 Cummins. I expect we will be bringing in the new models for Dodge, GM, and Ford in the near future for testing a development. I will keep the community informed.
Thanks
