Coned Directs

So quick preface: Bought the truck with an ATS stage 6, old build but low mileage. Had a couple hundred miles on it sense it was refreshed. Put about 5000 miles on it before I broke the intermediate. I was at the track, staging for my 4th run, and snapped the intermediate at the line.
Pulled the trans apart to replace the intermediate and found that the directs were coned/burnt. Everything else in the trans looked great. Replaced all the clutch's, put a spare stock intermediate in and away I went for another 3-4k miles.
Snapped intermediate #2! Same thing, Staging around 12-15psi and snapped. Pulled trans apart, and again burnt/coned directs, everything else looks great!

This time apart I'm replacing the input with a TCS arizona billet, and intermediate is getting a TCS billet as well. I also have a PDD (Bigblue) 200psi valve body that I'm going to put in as well as all new clutch's and steels again.

Is there anything else I can do? I need this thing to hold up. Thanks for help

Send me a PM or call the shop and I'll help you with a secret squirrel mod that will greatly enhance the life of 3rd/direct in your 48re.

Are people still using a return spring on the front band servo to help it retract when line pressure is released?
