Software beta testers needed for 'Anteater'

Here's what I've been DD with. Does pretty well for my setup. NOTE I have my gov pressure a little higher than most.

Looking forward to seeing what you find when you get that VB.

Doesn't matter. Can drive it 2min down the road and it does it after the first stop sign or 35min to work and it'll start acting up in the last 2miles of stop and go traffic before I get to work.

Odd. Mine seems to only be once it's warm, but it will throw in the wild care randomly and start doing it the first up shift

You guys getting anywhere with this now that race season is winding down?

Yep. Made some headway and a few wrong turns so far. I only get one cold start per day which drags out the test/debug cycle.

Just installed the Anteater STC and I read this thread a few times but a little confused how the tuning portion works. Does anyone have a tune file that they wouldn't mind sending me? Thanks in advanced.

I will see about digging up the ones I have and sharing them from Google drive.

I don't have a rig with an anteater until sometime this spring, so I won't be much help with troubleshooting.

Is there something specifically causing you trouble?

**********Disclaimer*********
If your transmission falls out on the ground, turbo doesn't bark the same way, ladies don't want on it the same after you flash these files, it's not on anyone else. No warranty expressed or implied, an no liability claimed.

That being said, I don't *think* any one of these are dangerous. I have a couple that are, and I'm not posting them. I have more, but I need to find them.

Also, keep in mind you have to mod these to fit your TPS and tire size.

I usually date code any file I change, even if it's small. 6 digit date code atleast, and a - 01 to whatever for multiple files on the same day.

I kind of understand it a little better but so it comes preloaded with base line tunes correct? And I was wondering if anyone had any tunes that are working for them that they wouldn’t mind sharing because I have to use a desktop computer I.e not having a Windows laptop.

It does. And they usually are enough to make it drivable, but not desirable.

Have you got the vehicle set up, your minimum and maximum TPS voltage, and tire size?

Don't forget gear ratio ! I struggled with my Anteater for a while because I thought my truck had 4.10 gears (that is what was on the sheet when I bought it) and it turns out that I have 3.73 gears... Made a HUGE difference in getting the Anteater tuned in.

I have a tune file that I've been daily driving for ~3 weeks with a Goerend constant pressure VB. The only known issue is that if the TV lever is set too high, the 3-2 downshift doesn't occur until engine RPM drops enough at 0% TPS.

If any of you want it, just email me using the site and I'll send it to you for validation.

Will there be any updates that will allow lockup tune per gear? That’s the only thing I find myself wishing I could still tune.
