Is it 4wd or 2wd? I need a 2wd. Is there a difference in the tail shaft?

Thanks. The 4wd has a shaft to the tc and the 2wd has a bolt on flange for the drive shaft. I need the 2wd. Thanks

I happen to have NV4500 for a 4X4 if interested. It came out of a 2000 1ton, it has the 5th gear upgrade.

For reference;
NV4500 overdrive = .74
NV5600 = .73
Early G56 = .79
Late G56 (07.5+) = .74

no .69 od in a g56...and the 4x4 and 2wd transmissions are the same.. when you use it as a 4x4 a spud or coupler shaft slides onto the trans output shaft.. if you use it as 2wd you buy the round output yoke it slides and bolts onto the trans output shaft..etc
i assume you still have the AE Code G56? the one from the 6.7L? I just swapped on into my excursion. I may be interested in yoursd for my first gen...
Thanks
deo
