How to get rid of CEL....

This is the only complaint after six months on the road that I have. Anyone know how to get rid of the CEL due to the VP not being there anymore? Oh, and no I'm not just putting a piece of black tape over it.
 
Well I'd rather not go that route in case there's a legit reason for it to be going off that I need to know about. Plus I'm kind OCD about stuff like that.
 
Makes no sense.... You have modified the truck beyond what your ECM can control and detect yet u want to leave the CEL intact in case something happens?

It has a legit reason to be on. U took the vp out.

The CEL has absolutely no use no as the computer is completely irrelevant to the engine running. If you lose oil pressure, you have a gauge/dummy light. Same for voltage. Either pull the bulb, let it stay on, or put a VP back in place. Thats your three options.
