Oil change/What oil to use?
I'm getting ready to do my first oil change and wondering if anyone would recommend a certain brand of oil to use?

What does the manual call for? By default I'd run 15w/40, but I'm not up on the 1500.

I am also going to be looking this. I know that several owners are saying you can only get it at the dealer, as well as oil filters. I highly doubt this, but have not had time to look into it myself yet. I am at 2300ish now, so I have a few weeks.
Just started looking into this. Per the manual the oil needs to meet
Quote:
Only use ACEAC3 SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Low Ash engine oil meeting Chrysler material standard MS-11106 or Pennzoil Ultra Euro L full synthetic 5W-30 motor oil, which is recommended for all operating temperatures

I am trying to find out what oil meets that currently.

Here is a chart from another site that shows normal fluids/filters and their Mopar part numbers, and any others that have been found that meet the specs.
Link I got the list from.
