Stock truck - Grudge match 4Low or 4 high

Sorry if this has been discussed when searching through old threads anything that came up was older post from years back or heavily modified trucks. As the title says, stock truck, pulling a 2018 dodge 3500 in the grudge match at the local tractor pull here against the ford and Chevy. Pulled last year in 4 low drive and the next night in 4 low trying to shift using the buttons. Both nights were a disappointment. RPMs never got up, almost like the computer was preventing high RPMs in 4 low and was basically just a crawl down the track both nights. Was wanting to try 4 high but have always pulled in 4 low. The Chevy had same issue in 4 low, the ford, did much better but don’t know for sure if the ford was in 4 low, he says he was but can’t confirm that. I guess My question is do these newer trucks have something in the computer preventing certain torque/RPMs in 4 low and what’s my chances in 4 high? 2018 3500 3.73s bone stock. TIA for any information
