Take Care, Jim

Tom:

Take care and be safe......

and in the spirit of this Thanksgiving day

another reason to give thanks for those like you and Jim who unselfishly put yourselves in harms way to guard the freedoms so many take for granted.

Thanks for the words everyone, at least this will be a peacetime deployment for the most part.

We all know that there is no such thing as a "peacetime" deployment in a region that has been fighting amongst themselves for hundreds of years.

Jim..
With a cousin often deployed since he is a Navy Pilot,My remarks are spoken to any military volunteer who defends our rights on any soil.Very often there are those who make vain attempts to dicredit what is being done abroad by our Military.Knowing that our Military Personnel allow them the freedom of speech to make complete asses of themselves is something those people will never understand. We never hear of the good things which happen daily there as our media doesn't want that to happen,we only hear of failures. One could only wonder how much shorter the time to do the job would be if the UN didn't have our Military working with both of our hands tied behind their backs.

So Again...
On this Thanksgiving Holiday....
I offer my thanks to the Men and Women of our MIlitary for doing a job that allows us all to sleep comfortably at night and enjoy the freedoms of life........Andy

Andy,
I am deploying to southEAST Asia, mostly peaceful over there, although there are still some terrorist hotspots mainly in Thailand and the Phillipines. Plus we always have N. Korea to keep us busy.
