really thinking hard.recently a guy made an offer on my truck,found a reg cab 06 just trying to get that sick feeling out of my stomach when i think about actually letting the 05 go.i realize that for what i want it has to go,just not sure if i can do it or not...

Depends on how much gutting you want to do. I think Drake's got his four door longbed down to like 6500.

i can get mine to 6500 but i want to be under 5500 2wd is the way to go...

Buy a first Gen for $1,000 and swap your engine in. Mine weighs 4850 all stock with no driver and a quarter tank.

Cummins Express is 4400 with driver roll cage and frame supports. Not much removed at all. Mostly added. Strange there is that much weight difference.
