700+ ve fuel only??

What you guys think ,can it be done? If high rpm fuel/ refill problems can be overcome .

Thought it had already been done? Didn't some guy say he did 7xx with his truck and then his pump locked up? Then the dyno graph got lost in the mix? Some guy up around your part of this grate nation?

As far as I know the biggest proven dyno VE fuel only number is owned by Jeremy with is 649 or so threw the non lock up 727?

I maybe way off on both of those statements?

I thought Stomp had a manual trans?

Stomp was manual. Very high 600s. 690 something iirc.

Yes Jeremy had a getrag still on his last run against Jason when he melted it down. Last I heard he was rebuilding the whole mess to get his record back, but not much being said the past few years. He has a very nice mega cab now and his square body sits.

Brain had done the mid 6's in his yellow service body truck way back in the day. He turned it way down and is still using it to fix tractors in the field, last I read.

The guy I was talking about posted some numbers either here or on 1stgen about a 7xx run. Not sure of his name or truck.

I'm personally shooting for the VE fuel record right now. Will it happen, probably not. There is a guy that has built a 24v VE engine that has a very good chance of hitting the fuel only record also. Last I heard he locked his home built pump up and is going to build another one. There is also that young guy whith the black single cab that was doing some great sled runs up in Idaho (i think) Austin was his name. I don't know if he ever got on the dyno, but that truck was breaking hearts in the the brush pulls he was running in. Don't hear much from him anymore either. Also the guy who built the 6.7 VE engine. He has the most potential in my opnion, but he was just looking for a good driver, not a ragged edge of breaking His truck.

There are quite a few strong running VE trucks. Many of them don't get to any dyno events. I personally think it has to do with all the guys who blew up at Jeremy(stomp) when they called BS when he said I don't know what the correction factor was when he did his record run.

92SmokinBlacky, Austin, locked his pump up this past late summer finally. Swapped a 12mm back on. Ran 2.8 out in ID. Hit 4k RPMs a few times on a 14mm.
