CDS 5k install

Bought CDS's 5k gov springs through pure diesel power,
And am happy I bought them, throttle is a bit touchy
But IMO plenty streetable. first time doing govenor
Springs and only took about 35 min. Im at initial click +3
And it seems to run decent. Don't plan on going over 3k until
I buy a few more parts. But my question is, how many clicks
Are you 5k guys running? My truck pulls hard to about 2200
And after that it steadily climbs up from there. Should I add another
click or back them out a click or two?

If you don't have fuel pressure to support the rpm, it will run like chit too.

I can't remember, but mine is 5-6 clicks.

Go as tight as you can without screwing up your idle.

Good way of putting it.

Be careful though, mine idles fine with 1 extra click, but it would run like chit over 2500rpm.

Well that's really good to know! One thing that I thought was odd after first install, is my idle dropped from 600rpm to 400rpm. I was expecting them to jump up into the 1k range and be a mofo to tune, but i must have gotten lucky
