It's a great relief. I checked the studs several times and they didn't turn one bit

Well I finally had a chance to do some more testing. Need to swap to the shorter caltrac bars, find where timing is on the light and wire in all my boost gauges to see what the truck is actually doing. Also going to ditch the scs Cheetah if anyone is interested. But it's starting to come around now. Click the image to open in full size.

I also found the wheels are spinning in the tire so going to need to fix that before TS.

Yeah that SCS probably is just a hunk a metal and plastic in the cab with an anteater on board. 10.7 is no slouch of a 12 valve! Do you drive it on the street? If so that thing is a mega sleeper

Actually no matter what I have to launch in 1 and bump to 3rd. If not you will destroy a sprag.
I can drive it on the street. Drove it 5 miles to get it loaded on the trailer today. At the moment I don't have the lights wired in so I have held off on driving it. Also don't have a plate on it yet.
I am happy with the 10.7 but I built the truck to go fast and 60 much harder then it is. Need more seat time

I will say anyone that has went fast and been quick on the light is impressive. It's taking a decent amount of getting used to. I know I need more seat time and Mother Nature hasn't been nice about that. Goal for the year is Atleast one 9.99 pass. Will see if it has what it takes

One little trick I learned is you never really wait for the green, mash the throttle as soon as you see yellow on a pro tree, and on a sportsman you mash the throttle on the last yellow. Best light I ever cut was a .065 on a sportsman tree.

I'm sure you probably know this already, however every little bit helps and maybe someone else will pick up on this and use it.

I do leave on yellow. Just a lot going on in my head. This is the first time I have been faster then mid12s Need to get to the point that shifting, boost and staging are all second nature. Don't even think about it kinda thing.

Thanks, I couldn't do it without all the friends around me. I lost the Trans in my tow rig this week and had people step up to tow me to the track and TS this coming weekend. My sponsor Firepunk Anteater has helped a ton and the guys at Firepunk really make this possible. They have dealt with me and my 12v very well. They have also helped at the track as they are very knowledgable obviously. Although they still don't think the truck has enough wires lol

We can always add more wires! Wires make it go faster!

Pretty good runs, does look to be falling off a little on the topend with the 102mph 1/8th vs 126 mph quarter. Play with your gate tuning and timing till you find another 2 or 3 mph on the big end.

I've done it all my life and still ain't no good at it. lol

One of the tracks we used to run at had a "no-box" class. One fella would usually win the class every other weekend or so and if he didn't win, he was second. I spoke with him and he actually built a blinder for his helmet to keep his focus on the tree. He red lighted against me one weekend and I won the class. First and only time in my life. lol

I know timing would add the power needed. I think I have a leak somewhere in the charge system. We shall see

Well I had a great weekend at TS Performance show. Truck ran great. It did have boot problems but managed number 1 qualifier and a win in 6.70 Saturday. Truck ran a best of 6.62 on the brakes with a blown boot. It tore 2 up racing and caught one before it went in the pits. That will be getting changed to vibrant clamps. It's not
Worth dealing with. Click the image to open in full size.

Over all I am very happy with the anteater truck. It's amazing how well it has performed for the first season.

Truck did 110 in the 1/8th this weekend. Only change was track. It went faster but with no clear reason why
