rear end gusset pictures and advice

looking into making some gussets for my d80 in my puller. Wanted to get some pictures of them to those of you that have done it to help get me some ideas.
I've also seen on alot of truck where it looks like there is a ring welded all the way around the hog head also. What the view on that? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also onto another topic:
is there more of an advantage having the front of the traction bars mounted lower than close to the frame on the front mount?

What about gusseting the rear...any pictures of those? That rear cover looks like a nice piece..anyone else running one?
