how to adjust idle? also, hard start...95 cummins..

thanks for any help!! i have a 95 cummins, seems to have a low idle and sometimes it will die only in reverse???

can someone tell me how to bump up the idle??

and.. if it helps, its a little hard on the start, helps to give er a little juice..

On the back of the pump is a 10 mm locknut holding the idle stop screw.Its on the back of the pump near bottom.If you cant fine it let me know and i can post a pic for you

thanks for the info..
what you are saying is to loosen the locknut in order to turn the screw that will bump the idle up.. correct?? is it best to adjust when the truck is warm? running? thanks alot..
