Stupid transmission question

Alright this may a really stupid question but I've got the 47re out of my truck, and I want to change the filter in the pan. Is It going to hurt anything if I turn it upside-down to do this?
 
Drain ALL the oil first before you turn it upside down to change out the filter. Dont want to risk any trash getting in the VB.
