Arson III or Aftermarket CP3?

How does a stock CP3 with the Arson III kit compare to a Level 1/Stage 1 or Level 2/Stage 2 pumps?

Just trying to decide what route will be best.....

I know the level the Level 1 pumps are essentially flow porting modifications, this removes passage restrictions, the internal supply pressure is also bumped up considerably.

A Level 2 has the above mods done, plus the displacement is increased by 18%.

Wicked Diesel:
Level 1: Supports up to 700hp; 223lph displacement

Level 2: Supports up to 750hp; 263lph displacement

Industrial Injection has a 33% over stock pump also.....

Or, with my truck's mods, will the Arson III be plenty?

Arson III:
Supports stacked programming
Handles oversized injectors
Faster rail pressure increase
Higher sustained rail pressure
All new Bosch components
Unmatched real world results
Has supported over 700hp

If your going to spend the money you can try the Arson kit, and if you upgrade the price would be deducted from the price of a bigger pump from Wicked. Maybe that info can help your choice and let you see for yourself.

Or, should I just buy a Level 1 pump from Wicked Diesel, that I believe already includes the Arson III kit?

Would rather make this decision once, and not have to worry about the CP3 flowing enough.....

Woosley said it.. But you did too.. I'd probably goto Wickeds level2 and be done with it.. Now worries about injector upgrades and programming. (At least thats the route I'm going.) Only the best in those Wicked pumps.

what are you running for programming, injectors and turbo/turbos. look at your overall setup then go from there. i would say do it once and get a modded pump. Wicked makes a nice pump and so does Floor It.

When my trans get built up next week, I will have my Smarty SR set at the #9 tune....

I have an Air Dog 150, ATS Pulse Flow Manifold, BD Super B Single, CFM+ Intake Manifold, and an Icebox Intake

My injectors are still stock and will have to remain stock until I have the funds for some.....

I plan on buying a pump or the Arson III kit soon....

I do plan on running 75-100 HP nozzles, with my BD Super B Single, AD 150, and Smarty maxed out at #9 tune

I have a brand new, Mopar Bosch reman CP3 that I bought for a steal.....should I:

1) Throw an Arson III kit on the new pump

or

2) Sell the new pump and buy an aftermarket pump

Will the Arson be good enough, or will I just end up pulling it out and going with a larger pump anyways?

If you are just going to run 75-100s just run 90s and leave the pump alone. Lots of trucks over 600hp with that combo.

With my Smarty on #9, it does not seem like I can build rail pressure past 16,000.....so I was hoping that a CP3 mod or aftermarket CP3 will boost it up a tad

Might as well get a modded pump... just in case you decide to go bigger in the future!

I vote Floor It.....

I did 681hp with my arson 3 kit but rail pressure dropped pretty good. im steping up to a stage 3 from wicked eventually which will make things much happier! Your HP goal and budget are the determining factors on what to get.
