2005 4520 John Deere timing tool

Friend of mine has a Deere he thinks has slipped time. He has it tore apart completely down to time. Local Deere places don't have the tools and they never would give him a price they would charge to do it. Basically giving him the run around and was going to charge him for the tool. Tractor only has roughly 500 hours on it. Running bush hog one day it basically fell on it's face, down to around idle. Is hard to start now and no power. Just wondering if anybody might have a tool he would gladly rent or pay somebody to do it. It's a jdg1700-........ several different numbers.
