Good Machine Shop In DFW Area

Hello,

I am looking for a good, cummins friendly, machine shop in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

I would like to get the head o-ringed, head decked and have the block checked for cracks/leaks.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure they have a "deck plate" if you call around.

Farris racing engines out of springtown. John Robinson referred me to them. They did my Duramax, first Duramax they have ever done, and did a great job and good pricing. They do a lot of cummins. Believe they did johns machine work for a good while.

Thank you for the suggestions

I called and they suggested that I take it to farris racing out in springtown.

When I called he said that he could not oring the head , he only has the jig for the block. I assume he is talking about fire ring'ing? I have been told this is not something you want on a daily driver.

80 flatten head
150 flatten block
60 dip the block

is there anything else I should have done?
