It was the first ever time that the owner has pulled. He did a great job. He took the slow gear just to get some seat time and move the sled. Soon he will get it in the right gear and get a little more speed.
Yes, the engine has dual fuelers and and hx60 turbo built for the 2.6 class.

First time he pulled but not his first hook? I thought this truck bent rods once.

The owner of the truck had not pulled a sled before this hook. This was the 5th attempt at pulling this truck. The rest were all driven by Preston Nelson who usually drives The American Ride. Attempt 1 we had computer problems and never moved the sled. Attempt 2 it bent the rod. Attempt 3 the truck ripped the upper and lower ball joints out of the front left tire at around 75 feet. Attempt 4 Preston took it down the track to a second place finish.
The truck owner has never moved the sled with any truck before this. He made a couple attempts with old truck but just couldn't get the feel of the clutch so other people drove it for him.
