wiring up a neutral saftey light

I'd like to add a white "in neutral" light to the back of my truck for safety purposes to the chain hooker. Other then a rigged up toggle switch I'm lost as to how to wire up a light so that it's on when the truck is in neutral only, and off when not... any ideas?

Assuming that you are running a standard shift transmission, you can use a "Wobble" switch that you can buy at McMaster Carr. Mount the switch horizontally to the shifter and attach it to the floor, weld a washer on the shifter to capture the switch. When the shifter is in neutral it activates the switch to turn the neutral light on.

Here are some choices:

Very cool, yes I am running a std trans.. Thanks for the ideas.. plan on running SPI this year, alot of trucks don't have them, but I think it's a good safety thing to have..

There were no good pics when I was looking for info to make one, so I thought it'd be good for other people searching!!
