Weird idle and truck dying

The other day my truck started having a fast lopy idle and sometimes it misses. It doesn't do It all the time and if I shut truck off for a few minutes, when I start it back up it runs fine. My truck has a quadzilla with the high idle tune on it and when the rpms start to rise the truck shuts down and I have to wait a few minutes before it will restart. Today I went to start my truck and the wait to start light and grid heater aren't working. It's not throwing any codes, so was wanting some ideas before I tear into it.
