Looking good !! I would get rid of the pvc pipe that you are using for air line. I have seen that stuff blow apart.

Roof is on and part of the siding is up, hope to have a floor by early spring so I can finish the inside walls and electric.
sounds good I wanted to get more done on mine but it did not happen this time home

Thanks, I have never had a problem with the pvc. Just about every shop i have been in uses it. I only have a 135 psi compressor.
I will be posting my latest toys soon

Got the electric service in a few weeks ago so now can use work lights after dark, only have one plug at present until inside walls are finished. Got the rock in leveled the floor and compacted yesterday, I'll finish tying rebar today and form out the door opening. Guys coming to pour the concrete next week, then I can finish the inside. Storage room will be added later when the ground dries out.

How Big of a service did you get? I only have a 50 amp right now and i am thinking a 200 amp is what i need.
My poor craftsman air compressor took a **** and i decided to break down and buy a real compressor. Also i got a aqua parts washer and i have used it once and I freaking love it.
I managed to get one piece of tin up on the walls to see how it would look. Now I have to change the color and get polar white this is too dark.

Also picked up a forklift. So when I need to move dead trucks in and out of my shop I can do it by myself.

200 amp service, I've got a Lincoln AC/DC stick and Miller 251 mig to power along with a Quincy two stage compressor.
I'm going with all white metal on walls and ceiling for brightness (eyes aren't as good as they use to be).

Is that your lift behind the forklift? I've got an old Snorkel Lift with 60 ft stick but wish it was a 40, also two wheel drive which sucks in soft ground but it was cheap.

x2. That's one of the worst parts about my new job, no more free access to one! I used to wash EVERYTHING that came off of a vehicle in those...

Looks good man! Nice start.

I just bought a house with a 20'x24' single story barn that I am hoping to turn into a little shop. At least a concrete floor, a ceiling and some kind of heat. Big enough to get a truck or two in it. I'd love to find an old Bridgeport, lathe and brake to play around with. Just a little place to tinker on things with.

hell yeah, My original plans are still in the future 60x100 building divided into 3 parts office/ wife's craft room ,machine shop, and auto/tractor repair. That will be for a later date lol You would be jealous to know i sold one of my lathes to purchase a Bridgeport J mill. The previous owner had for 22 years
with power feed table. Also I couldn't resist playing with it on a cummins cylinder head(milled the intake shelf off) before that i picked up a new Tig welder and made some use of it and my old lathe.
