Need help with 4link/ back half

Hey guys! Been a while since I’ve been here, I’m currently doing a tuneup at back half and 4 link on a drag truck and have hit a little bit of a speed bump in the designing phase.
I’ve done a ton of research and from what I’ve gathered the lower link needs to be angled slightly down towards the front of the truck.
Of course this will make my forward brackets pretty close to the ground which is not ideal but seems pretty normal from what I’ve seen, my question is for you guys already running 4 links and tuning them is my information correct about the lower bars?

You should play around with a calculator:
4x4 Excel Spresheets

There's not just a golden rule to it. placement of the links are going to change your travel, pinion angle, and anti-squat. The longer length you go, the less pinion angle change you'll get so you could potentially have more travel. You also get really heavy because long tubes will deflect, and you have to combat that with diameter and wall thickness. You'll also start crashing into the frame and cross-members.

I'd just recommend taking a couple weeks with that calculator before ordering up steel!

Thanks for the reply ! I already have most of the tubing But some plans have changed and it looks like I’ll need more unfortunately.... this chromoly is ridiculous lol. As far as the 4 link goes I’ll be sticking with typical dimensions (for the bars) of reputable companies like chassis engineering to keep deflection to a minimum and also running larger diameter tube as well.
I was going to cut the frame behind the cab but after staring at it for a while it makes more sense to cut it under the cab before the frame jumps up 6 or so inches that way the new tube frame will flow into the mounting points for the link brackets better.
I am going to be doing some pretty extensive bracing into the roll cage etc to ensure it’s as stout as possible.
I guess what I’ll be doing is installing the brackets in a neutral position that way upper and lower bars can be adjusted easily both ways and for pinion angle I’m going to go with what’s typically recommended initially which is 3-5* downward in reference to driveshaft angle
