S467 12 valve toy questions

Helping a friend of mine with a 12 valve and wanted to see what some of you think. I'm rusty with the 12 valve stuff.
01 cclb, 12v swap, 180 pump, .024 delivery valves, 5x14's , T4 manifold and s467, 150gph lift pump.
The truck is getting an nv4500 and will be driven some and pull sled (no class, just fun)

What's anyone think about that setup? Also wondering where to time it at and curious if we should run a fuel plate or not? If so, which one?

Thanks for any feedback!

I'm no expert, but IMO that 467 is going to blow the tires off when it lights, but I think that will be about the time he needs to shift to the next gear and start all over. I had a 467.7 on my VP truck. It's an auto, so I only had to spool once and it was good, but if I went back single it wouldn't be an s400. The SXE300 series make way too much power and spool quick, IMO. Hopefully other guys will chime in. I bet an SXE 364.5 would be a sweet setup and actually spool quick so he could make power quickly.

I think an automatic is still a possibility. The truck is auto now but he bought an nv4500 swap and Dana 80 too cheap to turn down.
We figured we'd mess with the 467 cause he already had it.
I've never pulled before, how are guys shutting down with an auto? Just unlock the converter and hope it comes down to idle?

That fueling setup doesn't really warrant a 467.7. There's only enough fuel there for around 500hp. More aggressive DV's and bigger injectors would be needed to put the 467.7 into it's sweet spot.
