what kind of shape is the head in? all stock? and does it come with everything in the picture?

Location is Salem VA

Head comes with everything pictured and I would go ahead and rebuild the head by checking the valves putting in new stem seals and just inspecting it. It was on a running truck that got wrecked with 140k miles on it.

what condition are the rods in? Are they matching set?

They are a matching set, and are in good condition. They came from a 140k mile motor that was parted out of a wrecked truck.
