I Did It!!! I Did It!! I Did It!!
I have fianally done it. Had our points pull tonight. There were 12 trucks in our street class, Made a great hook there. Came out with 4th with a pull of 291.46. Third place was just 296.xx which was Mr. Bragg (Kino_Fab)
Then had a guy come in with a auto, 4x4, twin turbo, twin CP3 dodge, so they added a non sanction open diesel class. It was just gonna be him all by his self so I figured why not, and jumped in the class with him.
He made his run and just blew it out the gate with a 336.xx . Right before the class I talked with him and asked if I could run a 30 inch hitch he said that was fine. I hooked up and the truck ran great and bobbled the front end all the way down the track. Then Got to the end, picked the front end way up and busted my drive shaft and something in my rear end. Everyone came running up to me saying that I had beat this fella, I pulled a 341.36 I couldn't beleave it. I hadnt changed a thing since my first hook except my hitch. And That suprised the crap outta me, and everyone else for the matter.
Ill have a vid up as soon as I can get ahold of it.
That was just an awsome feeling and I couldnt have done it without the help of all my good friends.
Now tomorrow comes the fun part of figuring out what all I broke....
But its worth it...
Lynn

I never would have thought that Lynn would have beat that truck. It wasn't just the average street truck either. This truck is setup for pulling (traction bars, weights up front, suspension stops, shortend hitch, ect...) As a matter of fact he in on here and goes by NOSCorbin. The same truck that got second this year at Corydon, IN. Congrats to Lynn in both classes. Once we get this whole rearend carnage under control, and a little more fine tuning, alot of people will be taking back everything they said about a 2wd not being competitive in a 4wd class.

Thanks Taylor, Well I got the carnage we talked about fixed yesterday before that pull. Now I have really gernaded something. Ended up having to pull both axels to be able to push it up on the trailer, and this is with a broken U-joint on the drive shaft as well. Ill post some more pics up when I get it apart.
