good startign point...

IMO anything bigger with 3.55 and 32/33" tires will really put a hurting on the clutch

to run 1st gear you would need about a 2.50 gear to have enough wheel and ground speed to be competitive. The 4.63's should be about perfect for it in 2nd gear since we are a little limited on the RPMs with a 2.5/2.6 charger and our engine fundage is a lil low too lol.

well i really need a dual disk but my funds r a lil low as well. But all together i think i have only put about 630 dollars in it. 600 for headstuds and gasket after i blew it. and about 30 dollar for the rack plug. so i cant complain about to much. The stock whc1 is holding me back as far as power goes. wats the turbine wheel size and the exhaust housing size on the charger yall r runin. yea im kinda in between gears. in first i can run about 10 at 3k and 2nd i can run about 30 at 3k.Wat kinda wheel speed r yall seeing?

The Turbo is a S465 from Engineered Diesel. Not sure of the comp. wheel but i know its a 65mm inducer and a .90 A/R exhaust housing. As for wheel speed, the 4.63's should put us at 28mph at 4k RPM. The 4.88's put us at 26MPH. That is in 2nd gear aswell.

well maybe i wont have a problem with my gearing. although im not putting as much power to the ground as yall i might do decent. the clutch is holding me up as of now. i dont know wat it is but i really cant slip it after it engages but if i dump it in 3rd or high or ride it at all it just slips like no other. is his truck just a puller or does he street drive it.

I have retired it from the road... It has no street manners at all due to the 13mm pump, and the welded rear end dont help either...

Now your at a final ratio of14.07 you was at 14.83 you might have to steal bragg's other tire's that don't have as much tread on them. You will have alittle more tire speed mabey a little less bite mabey you won't blow another rear end.Good luck my freind.sorry I forgot to call you back I just got busy and forgot you know how old people get.

Actually I would say the next closest pull to you will be GreenUp, ky if Lynn desides to make the 5hr drive up there lol. Its near the corner of where WV,OH, and KY meet I think. That pull is Sep. 4th. Then the following weekend we will be at Munfordville, Ky on both friday and Saturday nights.

Dale, either hurry up and get it together for Munfordville for an exhibition run, or just take a break and come watch us. Saturday they are having diesel dirt drags aswell. It should be a great weekend.
