welded intercooler to intake pipe for bov

Compression Ignition
Do you still offer the welded pipe option? I'm not sure I am skilled enough to weld ss to mild steel. I can provide the pipe.

At the very least you can take it to a muffler shop and have it mig welded. Just make sure you check it good for any slag. Of course tig would be better but mig works fine.

I suggest no bov. Do not see a reason to run one

Have you ever ran one? Maybe you need your eyes checked cause I run a turbosmart raceport and I can honestly say with a big single it’s probably one of the better mods I’ve spent money on.

I have never seen one not leak on the dyno and if you know how to drive it won't surge anyways. So how is it that great?

I like the fact that it makes a cool whooshing noise when I let off the throttle and doesn’t surge or “bark” the charger as some call it. Plus i Have it set where it’s open just long enough to release enough pressure to prevent surging and then it instantly closes and builds boost as soon as I get back into it. I have no boost leak issues and if it is leaking I’m not seeing an adverse effect yet by my gauges or logs.

My truck doesn't leak on the dyno... Not sure how you "drive" around converter lockups (nobody drives with a lockup switch 24-7) or short shifts. Never had to drop the throttle for e-stops?
Turbo surge happens.

It's not notched, just the standard ic to intake from a 12v. My turbo already has blown the seal from surging and your bov-600 seems like the proper solution. Already have the Drive Pressure filter.
