hot farm speed

Our hot farm class is pretty rowdy. unlimited cube, unlimited Turbo, cut tires @3000rpm. They had some 30+ mph runs this year. LOL
 
Brad got those parts for my rearend today thanks. Just wondering about those gears and if I should just go straight shaft and no scs box
 
I'll try to run some numbers and come up with a gear set for you early next week. This week's been crazy, and I have about 3 days of stuff to get done tomorrow.
 
Those are some odd rules.... With our A pump tractors we hit mid 20's. And we have a 3250 rpm limit as well.
 
My dad pulls 6000lb limited light superstock in kentucky tennessee ohio and indiana. And runs about 45mph wheel speed and 24-26mph ground speed around 1/2 track.
 
Mostly it depends on the sled setting in my opinion. But I'd say 25-30 is about the normal. We've had our 2 hot 2 farm with a rotary pump hit 22mph
 
Anyone ever put a spicer cm-5252 in place of the factory o/u in a oliver? Is there a lighter 3-5speed ? I know profab ans scs make one but on a buget for now
