12v valve train

At what point does the stock rocker arm assembly start to become a possible issue?

I see there's some very nice looking shaft mount designs out there, I've just never heard anyone actually talk about using them, secret squirrel stuff among high hp pullers?

I would say as long as you stay under 4k your ok. Pullers and drag racers who make power at 4500 5000 rpm and hold that rpm down the track usually go with a roller setup.

I would reckon there would be a market for a support system for the oem rocker stands. Something like a 1/4" inch thick base plate to make a fabricated valve cover work, replace the short head studs between the valve covers with long ones, then put a trunion on them to grab the end of the existing rocker shafts.

That 5000 rpm range is where I'm shooting for peak power at with my new engine. Maybe I should be ordering a roller setup.

I will have a No Limit roller rocker kit with studs for sale shortly if anyone is interested. Best rocker setup on the market as far as I am concerned.

That's the closest thing to looking at porn that a man could look at without actually looking at porn.

What are you looking to get for the setup, and what studs?

That's not a valve cover just a girdle plate. Keating machine made a valve cover.
