47RE : Minimizing Geartrain End Play

Gentlemen & Ladies, I've assembled all the components of my 47RE and I am getting ready for final assembly. One thing I am concerned about is my measurement for gear train end play. I am getting a gear train end play of 1.2mm for my 47RE. I realize this is within spec for my transmission, but it is at the upper limit of the acceptable range. I would like to somehow bring this clearance down. The ASTG manual states that there are two thicknesses available for the "front planetary selective snap ring" (see attached image of page 84 of the ASTG manual) but I cannot find any vendor that sells the thicker snap ring.

Question: If I cannot find someone that sells a thicker snap ring, what other ways are there to reduce the measurement of my "gear train end play as it is measured on page 84 of the ASTG manual (see attached image)?

Thanks
