You could gamble away 50-60 on a new truck and still end up with a pile of chit. I feel like parts alone he came out smelling like a rose at 26.

Or it's a time bomb and they patched it to move it. Time will tell.

Nah. Just trying to help my buddy out... I already fixed his overheating issue, blown exhaust manifold gaskets, and HP fuel leak. Free.
He was curious about his new trucks history. And I knew this would be the best place to ask.
And it was.

Bwahahahha! Right?...
But seriously, I went through it, drove it (solid!) And fixed the few minor issues it had so far. And I think it was a good buy.

That's what I told him. As long as he can stage, and get a good launch... But he's scared, lol.

I've bought 2 of my 3 Cummins from the same lot where he bought that one.
Good dealer. They have sweet trucks all the time at good prices.
Just a South Texas thing I guess. Lol.

So is 1200hp the new number 12V rods will reliably hold? Better yet with compounds and some gas?!

That truck seems like a steal at that price though! Especially if it runs pretty well already and there's nothing leaking anymore.

Is that place out of Liberty Hill, TX? I've seen that place has a damn good selection of trucks.

Makes me feel better, because I used shot peened, heat treated, micro polished England rods in my 6.4 build, and my target is around 1k.
Truck should be back together in a few weeks.
